I had one good intake duct and one off of something else. It was way too small to have shrunk as much as it was compared to the other. As I'm sure the rest of you 750 people know the ducts are very hard to come by. Frankly, I wasn't all that pleased with the design anyway so I stopped hunting for one and came up with my own.

Fits perfect. Has some give so it will handle the vibration. Much easier to connect to the carbs and seals better than the originals I think too. It's automotive grade rubber so it should be ok with the heat. I haven't put the carb springs on yet because I don't have any. Crying or Very sad I'm working on that next but it's such a nice snug fit I almost don't think it's necessary.

Rack and pinion bellows for a Prizm. Bought two new ones and cut them to fit. Works great. Did all the work on it while the air box was still in the frame too which was no small feat I might add. Still retained all the original components except the ducts. I also added a K & N filter. Hope I like it. Wink

Well awesome. Functional, and looks way cool. That's the kind of simple but clever innovation that should be in a "tips" list somewhere...

Here's a shot showing the bellows are actually sandwiched in between the clamps. The seal is impervious to water. All the air must pass through the air box opening and the filter.

It's not a problem because I have that information. Unfortunately, I just left for vacation so it'll have to wait until I get home. I have the part numbers there. If you want to search on your own I got them at O'Reilly's for the Prizm. Don't remember the year. I'll post the part number later. Should be a sticky. We 750's gotta help each other out. Wink

O'Reilly's Auto Parts
K9321
R/P Bellows for the Prizm

Don't know the year or the Moog part number since I threw the boxes out already but I'm sure they can look it up. You might be able to do better on the price somewhere else but I wasn't that particular. Just glad to be able to fix it. thumbs up

That's a helluva deal. Especially considering the alternative of which there is none. I wasn't too particular when I thought of it so I didn't shop around. Good find KK!

Yes, I know this is an old post, but........
Thank you for sharing the info! Saved my a heck of a lot of time and money trying to figure out how to replace those darned ducts...

And before anyone flames me for reviving a long dormant post, just chock it up to random newb-ness.

thumbs up

No problem with dredging up an old post. That's why we record this stuff and I'm glad you found it useful. Frankly, I think it's better than stock and even though I finally found a set on fleabay I doubt I'll ever use them. They won't stay soft forever, certainly don't seal as good as the bellow's and their a pita to put on anyway. Sad

Again, awesome work. I will be doing this tomorrow. Thanks to your ingenuity, I'm not able to cross off the ol' emgo pod filters for now and just get my bike running right. I definitely like the job you've done! Thanks!
