Does anybody knoiw of how to fabricate or if if anyone makes a 2-into-2 SINGLE sided exhaust for an 83 kz750. I don't think that I have ever seen one on these bikes. I really like the look of the two mufflers stacked on on top of the other. All I really need is the pipes, I plan on using Sportster muffler so the headers are really all I need. Any help would be much appreciated.

Mine came with a 2-1 exhaust. If you can find one like it you'd have most of the work done. Just add a bit more pipe to position the mufflers and you're good.

If you are going to fab it up, I would route them under the motor then back up on the side. I don't think there is room for a leg and the pipes on the front unless you sling them really low.

Jegs and Summitt have a fab your own header kit for V8's. You would just have to find the right size kit. Or an exhaust shop may do some mandrel bends for you for a charge.

Remember to leave room for the oil drain plug.

You guys remember that now-legendary orange single-track looking bike? Doesn't that have two-into-two single sided scrambler-esque pipes?

Still not a bad idea to run the pipes though. I am thinking it would probablly be simpleast to start with a two into one set-up. Seperate just behind where they join. That would only leave a small section to fab up for the second muffler. I am still trying to figure out if there is enough room, and more importantlly if I am going to even like it. I definetlly want to do something interseting with the exauhst, before I send the carbs for rebuilding, so I can have them tuned for the eventual exhaust. If anybody has anything interesting, please post some pics.
Thanks

Two mufflers stacked on the one side. I'd go with a two to one Vance Hines header and the peashooter mufflers from a Triumph Bonneville. They should be compact enough to fit below the passenger foot pegs. You'd still need a bit more pipe and I think they'd look great staggered just a bit.

Yeh, I was thinking lower, with an upward tilt, stagered or even I think would look good. Not a huge upward, just slight.
