No, I'm not in LA... I'm even farther away than you. I'm in Apple Valley (next to Victorville... aka Victor-hell) in the high desert. It's a 2 hour drive for me to LA. I used to live in OC... I grew up there and miss it.

It's probably a little further but less crazy for you to go to the Vegas Show! I thought about it but finding an overnight sitter for my daughter is an impossibility!

I have a co-worker that just moved back to Apple Valley. I'm in Laguna Hills.

I plan on going to Vegas too... it's not that much farther for me than LA. I'm lucky to be in between and I can go to both. It usually is nicer going to Vegas, but it can be just as crazy going into Vegas on a Saturday night.

Maybe I'll go into some extreme mourning the night of the show (I'm not sure if pun is intended there-- I don't think so).

I'm really considering driving up to San Francisco.

I would be in a self-loathing mood, but I'm currently too busy being quite sad.

I will always have NAMM.
