Hello, long time lurker, 1st time poster here. I went to the show last night, here are my quick thoughts.

King's X - one of my favorites, I knew what to expect from them, the crowd was small to begin with, and it seemed like it thinned out a bit for Extreme...

which really sucked....I would estimate by the time Extreme hit the stage there were only about 150-200 people. Pathetic showing. The show was not promoted well, and on a Monday, so that is two strikes immediately, but I was embarrassed for my home town. The guys had pretty good spirits about it though, they still played their asses off. Nuno ripped into this older lady who wasnt into the show, who was more focused on trying to get Gary to wear this boa she had.

The people who were there really werent that into it, making noise etc. I had a blast though. I think that is probably the last time Extreme will play in New Orleans. I would have loved to seen them in a packed house with some energy from the crowd.

I still had a great time. Very Happy

hmm..that's too bad. I was wondering what the turnout would be since this thread wasn't too active. I had hoped it would end up like the show in Charlotte though - which was surprisingly packed.

I'm sure the guys appreciated fans like you being there.

Did you get a set list - did they do meet & greets - any photos?

The set was identical to the show on the 16th. I was glad they didnt cut anything. People were going so crazy at the end of King's X that they actually came back and did the song "King" which was so awesome. I was worried Extreme would cut a song, especially with the lame crowd.

Comfortably Dumb
Decadence Dance
Rest In Peace
Warheads
Star
Tell Me Something I Don't Know
Medley (Kid Ego/Little Girls/Teacher's Pet)
Play With Me
Midnight Express
More Than Words
Ghost
Take Us Alive
Cupid's Dead
Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee
Get the Funk Out
Am I Ever Gonna' Change
Hole Hearted

Thanks for the repot, Kurt! I had a feeling it would not be the largest crowd... one of teh reasons why I wanted to go!! Sad But lacking the money, the energy and now carrying with me the infamous "Extreme cold", there was no way for me to make it there...

I wonder if my friend Toni made it???

Excelent concert!!!! I got to be right in front of the stage with nobody in front of me to block the view; I have been a fan of the band since 1992 but being a foreigner and living out of the country I never got the chance to see them playing live; I have to agree wih Kurt, even though it was an excelent opportunity for a hard-core fan like myself to be so close to the action, it must have been pretty dissapointing for the band to see such a small crowd and only a few of the people seemed to be real fans; Gary and Nuno were well aware that due to the fact that it was Monday night, that did not help at all to the overall attendance but still they gave their best in the show, they have a great chemistry together, the playlist was exactly what I expected it to be,
I was really hoping that they would play "RUN", which is my favorite song from the new album, but by reviewing the playlist in the previous concerts, they have not played it at all;
Hopefully they will keep coming back with new albums, and at least for me, one of my dreams came true last night!!! and I am happy I got the unreal opportunity to see them perform live for the first time,

Long live Extreme!!!

welcome mantrix and good report! where you from if I may ask?

It's great that even with smaller crowds they're not losing it. Rock on...

Hello Marcos, Thanks for the welcome message; I am originally from El Salvador, but have been living in Louisiana for the last 5 years; Were you able to attend the concert?
