I don't think I'll be here unless something changes. My boss won't approve this day because someone else asked for it first. If she happens to give it to me at the last minute I'll be there but I can't count on that. _________________ Can't stop a broken heart from bleeding

If you want to get in a little early at Cleveland HOB, you need to do "Pass the Line." This is a must if you have a GA ticket and want to get a barstool or increase your chances of being up front.
Visit the HoB store or dine in the HoB restaurant around the corner from the music hall on E. 4th street. Have the store clerk or your waiter initial your receipt (of $20 or more). You will then be directed to a back entrance, where security will wand you for metal and give you a wristband for alcohol if you wanna drink. Then you'll be shown to a separate line in back. For a big show like this, the "Pass the Line" line itself will probably get long, but it'll be shorter than the main line waiting out front and you WILL be let in first, before the other people at the main doors.
It's a good value, too--if you and a friend(s) get dinner, it's like you each chip in $5 more or so to get in early and get up front.
As for meet and greet, I don't know. But you can't lose by waiting out back after the show near the buses in the rear lot. Regardless of passes / all access, most of the cooler, fan-friendly bands don't mind stopping for a quick photo or autograph back there (the lot is off Prospect Avenue, the street that runs parallel to Euclid). |

| I forgot to mention, if you want to do "Pass the Line" by having dinner, BE SURE TO GET THERE EARLY, at least 90 minutes prior to doors (6pm). This will allow you time to have your dinner and get in the PTL early. If you show up late, you might have time to eat, but once doors open, there's no point in being in "Pass the Line" because the main doors will have been opened. |

Any chance that there is a Jason McCann posting on this board? Drop me a line. It's "Koleco" here. Saw the Waiting For the Punchline show at the Odeon together in '95. Too bad I'm in Va Beach now and can't make the Cleveland show. I managed to make the Baltimore show and it was great. You will all enjoy it.

| just got home and what else can I say but the show was...INCREDIBLE!! took some pics I'll have to load later from my cell phone and I also got to talk and get a pic with Nuno & Kevin! Gary was amazing as usual but after the show Nuno said he was still not feeling good but you would have never known from his performance. I imagine I'll get to meet & get pics with Gary & Pat at the Detroit & Cincy shows, I told Nuno & Kfigg my girlfriend and I would be following them on the next few dates and they were super cool. Kevin even remarked to me that he saw me right up front just rockin' out and singing every word the whole show! finally got the CD after the show and listened on the ride home twice and once again the guys have not let me down. btw King's X were amazing as well and just added to an incredible night plus Dug came up at the end of Extreme's set and they did Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak!! well I've gotta get to bed, I'm fried!! |

| They closed the show in Cleveland with Hole Hearted, Get the Funk Out, and a cover of Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak," featuring Dug Pinnick from Kings X, who sang lead. The cover was kind of a joke on KFig, who was apparently arrested a couple nights ago. What was that about? Nuno joked, "We toured for 13 years and didn't get in trouble...but HE gets arrested after his third gig!" |

In cleveland they started with Comfortably Dumb and Decadence Dance. I can't recall the order after that, but the set included Ghost, Kid Ego, Rest in Peace, Am I ever Gonna Change, Nuno guitar solo, Cupids's Dead, (Do You Want to) Play with Me, Get the Funk Out, More than Words, Hole-hearted, Jailbreak.
Nuno's wit was VERY sharp at the show. At one point he sat down to play a middle-eastern acoustic guitar thing, and there was supposed to be a backing drum pattern, but I guess things weren't going right, and he called for it (the drums) to stop and said, "Guess you have to blow someone to get things to work around here." At which point KFig took over on acoustic drums, and actually those sounded better
Can someone explain the significance of the X bandaids on Gary's shades? |

My husband and I just got back from Cleveland and registered here on the site.....All I can say is: WOW!!! We were so blown away! Thank's for a phenomenal show! We were THOROUGHLY entertained and awed!!! We bought the new CD and listened to it for over 2 hrs on the way home.....Fantastic!!! We're so glad you are back!! Keep it going!!!
To add to the set list, they did quite a few from the new album also. From my memory add these to the setlist above:
Star
King of the Ladies
Take Us Alive
and I believe, Run and Learn to Love in addition to Ghost and Comfortably Dumb
We really enjoyed the Rock and Roll Camp show and definitely were pleased with Kings X.....Overall this was such an amazing show!! We'ld love to see it again!
~Hawk~
Yay to all the above....im a guy and i have to say this...you guy's brought a few tears to my eyes. i grew up blasting your records to my ears...it's so awesome you are back, and was deeply missed by many !!!
