My husband wanted to say he LOVES Heavy!! He says he totally hears a Zeppelin influence in that song.
He says he wants his own copy of the CD but he is waiting for the US release since he's been using my copy. _________________ Can't stop a broken heart from bleeding

He can't wait that long! He won't! Why wouldn't you rent him your copy and then offer him the japenese release with gains! LOL
Hey JJ! The Grammy needs an official US release before!
But I rather agree. "S'Ok" and "Megaton" have all their chances too. |

My younger sis loves "Something About You", or as she puts it "som-thin gaebat ju". Gotta give her some pronunciation lessons. _________________ Surrender to the power of mighty Zowie. >>> |

Haha!
I went through the same thing with my wife. She said It was "OK" when she first heard it but after she heard all the songs a couple times she wants the CD in the mini-van now.
I just tell her "This stuff don't belong in no mini-van babe!" jokingly of course.....as I put-put down the street in my Ford Focus lol.

My favorite song is Broken. But all of them are excellent.
But I agree. The first version of So'k was better than the last.
But I'm not worrying. I've got both of them. |

OK so ive had the album since just before Christmas so this is less of a first impression as to what it is after quite a lot of listens. My fave is Lockdown, and has been since i heard a bootleg of it, i just love the groove and feel of the song. As an album I think its stong until 'Something About You', then the tempo fades and the songs drag. There are some good songs after that like S'OK and Nice to meet you, but i feel as if there are too many slow/midtempo songs towards the end. Dont get me wrong the slow songs are OK but they seem direction less and for me take away some of the impact of the album. I think it's a good album but I think they could have taken a couple of the slow ones off it and rocked it up a bit more, i mean Nuno isnt that old yet |

| That's the same problem I have with it... too many slow songs. I like the songs, they're really great songs... it's just that I'm rarely in the mood for songs like that and it gets to me after a while listening to too many. |

You kids are gonna hate my Windows Media Player "Nuno Slow" playlist.
I also have Nuno Love Songs, Best of Nuno, Happy Nuno and Funky Nuno playlists.
Lockdown is still my favorite tune on Love though. He uses the f-word like THREE TIMES!

| Lockdown is still my fave too. I don't hate the slow songs... I just have to be in the mood, but I think your list is cool. |

Like Nuno says on Photograffitti, I think, about More than words, that the reason I wrote more than words is because we have different moods, it's not a ballad, it's a song. _________________ Extreme is the respirator of rock n roll. |

Yeah but there are too many slow songs He should keep it tight and Funky like on lockdown.
Notice how many Dramagods songs are on T's list, waaay too many for 1 anlbum. |

I actually ended up copying SFR4 into my Dramagods Love folder so that everytime it was played (in whatever random media player, I-Tunes, Winamp, Fubar) my PC would play SFR4 mixed with LOVE as if they were all from the same record. The funny thing is, almost all of the songs sound like they are from the same session, so for me, i guess Love is really 19 songs...and mixing
the EP in with Love, for me anyway, has completely fixed any complaints i could of had with the record as a whole..there were only 2 little things about the record that bugged me..one was what you all said about the second side kind of dragging (although i can say Replay is now one of my all time favorite songs by anyone) and the other thing is having the knowledge that the band seriously considered releasing a Double Album for the first official release from DramaGods...this knowledge only makes it harder to tollerate it when things get slow or they seem to drag.
I honestly really like the record....its just i wonder what other songs from these sessions were considered and if they will in fact be used for the next record...potentially what was to be DISC 2 this time out....
So which one of you fellow boardies can re-cap for me...what were some of the other songs that were mentioned on the Pop-1 Board?(R.I.P)...Jason mentioned a few...some of you did as well. Im just curious.
Thanks People

| Yeah it bugs me wondering what they left off the disc. I mean they should have replaced one or two of the slow ones with some rockers IMO. |

Classic!
Rock 'n' roll is more than a haircut...
Well, my fav also varies a lot (I love them all), but I picked 'Nice to meet you' basically because it's really the ULTIMATE kick-ass song period.
I wonder it's probably been painful to them cutting it to the album lenght 'cos the live version is even killer! _________________ Destination still unknown
