it's good the guys are slipping in another show here and there....only ones I can make are NH and Boston.....but is nice for other areas to be able to catch them .....

All right... Just a few more days... first post on this board but been here for a very very long time... Usually go to all the Providence/ Boston or NH shows but that weekend we're on vaca so we're driving down to New Haven to see this one.. Can't wait last time was last year at the Bank of Pav!!! looking forward to this one..

Thanks for the welcome... One more day... Been such a bad week at the work place that I need some Extreme to lift me up...
Wife and I should be in town by 4:00... We're staying at the Study.. Any good places to eat around there?

Holy crap, was this an awesome show. Two hours and 15 minutes and not a weak note in the bunch. I hope you were there, b/c this was an epic show in front of a frenzied crowd. The band seemed to feed off the energy and really appreciated the passion. Nuno complimented the crowd numerous times and said how happy the band was to have the opportunity to headline and get out of the one-hour box they're stuck in opening for Ratt. I think they played about 15 mins longer than planned...that was my impression, anyway.
My favorite moment was the few lines of "When I First Kissed You," but the whole damn thing was awesome. Loved the medley of "Get The Funk Out" and "Wanna Be Startin Something."
It was my first time seeing Extreme in almost 16 years (geez time flies) and it was well worth the wait. Wish I could see them again tonight or next week in Boston! GO SEE THESE GUYS IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE!!!! |

Anyone have the setlist for this show? I'm thinking the solo shows will be similar in regards to what they play. I hope they pull out all the stops for the Boston show since it's being filmed...also, was there an opener?

| I've seen a good 20 Extreme shows over the last 20 years, but this one last night topped them all. They were absolutely on fire, just killed it in every song and they seemed so deep into the groove. They must have been fired up for an Extreme only crowd after playing opener for the whole tour. Crowd was small - the place is small too but it still was only 1/2 full, i'd say no more than 250 in the house? - but those that were there were really into it and super loud. That seemed to power the band into an incredible performance. Someone described it as epic, I'd have to say that's a perfect description. |

forgot about rest in peace.....i know i should have grabbed the set list off the stage. my bad. still recovering.....next road trip hampton beach and boston shows....staying at beach for 2 nights will drive to boston for show only 40 minutes away and back 2 beach....boston show is being taped for dvd for sure and figg said it would be a special show......all who can should go.  |

looking forward to both shows....staying in Boston both nights though..hmmm...beach sounds awesome ...but love Boston as well....SO happy the guys are enjoying themselves to the max..........c u soon luvs......

What an amazing night… As some of you have stated, I have also seen them close to 20 times and this show tops all of them. It was the perfect storm, being this was the first Extreme only show… The crowd wanted only to hear Extreme and I really believe Extreme wanted to only play for Extreme fans… A few hours before the show met Nuno just walking down the street. Told him that my wife and I came down from Providence for the show because we couldn’t make the Boston or NH shows next weekend. He was very nice and grateful… At that moment I knew this was going to be a special night. When we finally arrived at the club later that night I was amazed that we were only a few feet away from the stage. I love the Boston shows but never been that close.. The opening acts came and went and then it was time… The boys came out blazing… From the first note everything was perfect… The interaction between all in that room was special… Everyone knew what their role was and everyone ACED it… There are so many moments during the 2 hour plus show to mention… but honestly the intensity of the event I could never be able to put on paper.. I do know one thing that the fans in attendance and the band didn’t want it to end but the body can take so much even if it’s a good thing. So we were left with an epic night and I’m honored that I was part of it... I truly believe that the band felt the same way…
Everyone that is going to the Boston show have a great time!!!!
The set list above I believe has all of the songs except for “Tell me something I don’t know”.
Next tour.. make a date in Providence come back to Lupo's!!!!

Agree with everyone's comments so far. It was the quintessential Extreme show---by far, the best I've ever seen. I'll post some pics this week.
