Extreme is listed over Ratt in line-up for this show......others is Ratt listed first..hoping that means Extreme plays second..... praying (to the rock and roll God) it is their neighborhood after all Ratt.. as work is dictating cannot leave until early afternoon...I drive fast...but not that fast....

Oh damn I misunderstood what you said. I thought you'd be there. That's too bad, it's just not the same when you are not there! No I do not have the same car as I did in 2006. The trip to Hampton killed that car. I have a truck now that's in MUCH better shape. I hope to see you sometime soon though! We miss you here in NH!

Can anyone tell me how close this show is to Boston and what the average cost of hotels in the area area? My husband keeps telling me I am crazy if I can't figure out how to make these shows.... I just have to be VERY careful with money so I'd rather drive a while to save if necessary.... Any ideas?

don't know the average price of hotels there, but Hampton Beach is around 1 hour driving from Boston
why don't you book the hotel in Boston for the two shows as we already did? do you wanna stay at the same hotel we booked?

That's what I'd like to do. What's it cost though. We have to be careful because my funds are limited. I won't know for sure if I can make these two for about a week... Crossing fingers!

It's around $150 but it could be more because summer rates are higher.
The only bad thing is some hotels lock their doors at like 1:00 or 2:00 am. So you might want to check that too is you book a hotel Bambi.

Travelling from London to catch the Hampton Beach and Boston shows (after gentle encouragement - thanks Mac!) and I'm SO excited. It's gonna be a blast for sure Mosh

Also staying in Boston and not sure about travel back to Boston that night - I believe buses aren't running too late?

Totally looking forward to the show tonight!!! Hope to see a lot of you guys there! I'll be there early sitting out front like a bump on a log waiting for the doors to open. Hopefully I'll have better luck getting there this time than I did in 2006 when my car died on the way to the show. I am thinking good thoughts and I have a better car this time. Wish me luck and I'll see ya all there!!!!

Another great performance last night. Man, they are just super tight right now, and have to say that Gary is right on and very consistent with his voice on this tour. They are repeating a lot of the same "bits" during the show (like Pat pretending to halt He Man Woman Hater for GTFO) but it's still good, they probably want to get it down for the DVD so it all looks smooth. A few big screw ups, hopefully the won't repeat for the taping!

Set list as I can remember it, as close to order as I can recall
Decadence Dance
It's a Monster
Star (Gary mistakenly sang the second verse first. Nuno joked later that they need to tape the lyrics to the floor because they are getting old.)
Rest In Peace
First CD medley (kid ego, little girls, play with me)
More than Words
Cupid's Dead
Take Us Alive
Hole Hearted
Flight of the Wounded Bumblebee
Get the Funk Out/Startin' Something (Nuno did the alternate riff at first by mistake)

Gary said it was the best crowd of the tour - dunno about that, I was at New Haven and that was a smaller but hyperpumped crowd. Nuno went on a little rant after Play with Me about how kids need to put down the "plastic" and pick up a real guitar for the future of rock and roll - got some cheers for it but it came off out of place and a little preachy, even though I agree....saw lots of Bettencourts wandering the ballroom....Gary said it was great to be back in "Extreme country."

I didn't stay for Ratt, how were they? I decided to rest and save my ears for tonight in Boston.
