| Good news about them headlining, because also announced today for that day, Tinted Windows is playing at the Black Cat in DC. It's an early show, and I doubt (based on past history seeing shows at Jaxx) that Extreme will go on before 10 (and I wouldn't be shocked if they start at 11). |

 I know, Willie! Phlop and I thought for sure we'd be able to see you again at this show. Are you vacationing too far away?
This will be a looong drive for us....but you know, we're still paying off Phlop's exotic vacation in the hospital last December  , so flying to another show would be out of the question for us right now.
We will, however, be at the beach 2 weeks after the Jaxx show - which would be an EXTREMEly good time for them to play the HOB @ Myrtle Beach!!!!!!!!!!! 
HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - powers that be!!!

If I were 20 years younger, I'd say "no, not too far." As it is...  I'll be in western PA, north-ish of Pittsburgh. I'd lose too much time from the event--and the show is smack-dab in the middle of the week where everything happens.
Last year, I skipped Pennsic, knowing that Extreme would most likely be touring then. Both of the shows I attended were during Pennsic time. This year, I was determined that I'd go to Pennsic. You win some, you lose some... That's why I'm hoping they'll add more dates, and maybe one or two will be "do-able" for me! |

Probably the usual - no "pro" stuff. But if I'm indeed going (depends on a Yes from my boss for off time), I'll do what I can to get my "bazooka" in.

Whether or not cameras of any type are allowed is up to the artist performing. In general there is usually no audio recording or video recording allowed at all. Most artists will allow small digitals or disposable cameras. Flash photography is usually frowned upon, however, all of this can differ from show to show. Professional SLR cameras are usually prohibited. Ask a member of the staff and they will find out for you. There are usually no such restrictions on local shows.

Thanks, Lisa! I figured as much. As far as I've heard House of Blues tends to be strict about cameras, but I'll find out what's the situation at every venue I'm going to.... yup, got an OK from boss, got my flight tix and the Jaxx tix too. Now just waiting for the rest to go on sale. 4 shows in 4 days in 4 states...talk about an EXTREME road-trip!
