was torn over buying the VIP package... but traveling a long way for this one. 85 each is a bit steep, but this is extreme!

Via houseofblues.com, then register to be a houseofblues.com member, and within there, for citi card holders! I was stunned to even see it when I clicked the link from my email today.

Regular tickets are 33.00 and are also on sale today.

I am not sure if it is the same for this show but I was there once for a show and VIP got you a bar stool along the rail (LOL) and maybe early entrance...can't remember, was a few years back.

That is pretty much it. You have early entry to the GA floor, and then you also have a reserved seat (bar stool) in the small elevated area on the stage level that you can use.

Purchase a Citi VIP Package and you'll enjoy access to the Foundation Room private lounge and bar, priority entry into the music hall, and a reserved barstool in our Music Hall.

Dress Code/Age Restriction: You must be 21 and over and have a valid photo I.D. The Foundation Room dress code is business casual. Jeans can be worn, but must not be torn, faded, or oversized and should be worn with a collared shirt or blazer. T-shirts, sweatshirts, tennis shoes, sandals, baseball hats, tank tops, shorts, and torn clothing is not allowed. The Foundation Room Manager reserves the right to consult with you on appropriateness of attire.

Information: Your concert tickets (unless mailed) and VIP passes will be held at the Foundation Room podium. The Foundation Room lounge and bar area opens by 6:30pm. Please call 312-923-2000 for additional information and to inquire about dining in the Foundation Room.

$169 with my AAA discount. I name-dropped myself, but they threatened to charge me double! So I just said I was kidding and I had no idea who NunoFreak was...

I hate to pay more than $50 for a room I'm only going to sleep in, but it's downtown Chicago on a weekend and it's a really nice place from what I have seen and read. Plus it's right next to the venue, so my drunk ass will just stumble across the street*.

Bambi i can't wait to see you again also. I wish T Rose and the rest of the
gang from that Population-1 show in Maryland could also make it, but
after the abject failure on my part of making it to either of the Extreme 08
shows i had tickets for (Chicago and Atlanta) i will be happy either way.

It almost seems to good to be true. Honestly. I could go on and on.

Cannot wait.
