I'm planning to go tonight (San Antonio)..... I replied to a post about this show in another thread, please forgive me if I put it in the wrong place.
Should I stay or should I go?

They were very good with a lot of energy. The guys I went with were pretty amazed with Nuno and Pat. I was impressed, but knew what to expect. I had not seen K Fig live, so I was impressed with the power groove he puts out there.
Nuno and Pat watched part of the Ratt show from in front of the Sound Board. I was standing right in front of them and didn't notice until people started pushing me out of the way to shake Nuno's hand and talk with him.
Hope they can make it back to SA next tour. |

I attended the show last night, too. They always put on a good show for me... The gentlemen all looked and sounded great to me.
Gary is one sexy performer. He was very patient with an over exuberant chick at the stage - I loved how he interacted with everyone. He's got the total package. I blew him a kiss and he caught it!
Nuno was his usual handsome, exquisite self. Kevin is definitely one of them - I'm glad he's part of the band. I stood right behind the tall guy in front of Pat and got to watch him up close. Loved it.
I left after a couple of Ratt songs, since I'm not that familiar with them and had to drive a long way home to let the dogs out. The first band, Swirl, from LA, was pretty good. The guitar player smiled a lot, and they seemed to be having a good time. The singer was great, but I only heard a couple of tunes. They were all friendly and signed a poster for me at the merchandise table.
I bought each of three shirts they had for sale in size medium for my son. They had no small. The two black tour shirts were $30 each, and there was a plain white one for $10 that says "Extreme." I like that one, not just for the price but for the simplicity of it.
One of the tour shirts has the eagle logo in silver (grey?) with tour dates on the back, the other has the faces of the band and is in color, also with tour dates.
I also purchased the $10 collector pick set and 3 button set. There were some nice 4 x 6 promo cards at the ticket counter, and I picked up one of those as well. I would have tried to bribe one of the "STAFF" of the club for the wall flyer, but I only had $1 left.
There were some underwear (boyshorts?) in black (navy?) and red that said something on the front and PLAY WITH ME in red on the back, but they didn't have my size (Granny panties j/k!) Not sure what else, oh some ball caps.
Santa comes early for my son! He adores Nuno and makes me jealous and proud that he plays their tunes so well. I saw a couple of younger kids there.... Nice if they can get to go, too. We are an Extreme et al family.
With faith that they will return, I didn't try to talk to the band. They signed ALL my Extreme memorabilia at the House of Blues in Dallas last year.
Enjoy the show in Odessa, people!
With Pleasure,

Where are all the songs they shot videos for? "King Of The Ladies", "Run", "Ghost", etc. They're almost always non-existent. Hopefully they throw in at least one more new song in Chicago, preferably "Run" or "King Of The Ladies". If they play "Interface" that would be a nice addition as well... _________________

Is that what they'd consider a "co-headlining" set? I'd think Extreme fans would be hoping for more than this. Oh well - at least they're out there playing together again. |

yehh doesn't sound like much, I'd say if they stayed on stage for 1h30 it was much given that set.
But as you said, at least they're out there. And at least there are headlining gigs too later on... _________________ Destination still unknown
