You won't regret seeing Hot Leg. Okay so they aren't your stereotype serious rock band, but they are brilliant musicians and have a bloody good time as do the audience - they're wicked Very Happy

I'm having to give my house mate a quick Extreme lesson this weekend. He's not really familiar with any of their songs.

Your housemate will love it, I had to give my friend and my husband extreme lessons before the Manchester gig and they had an ace time.....so much so that they didn't need much persuading to come to Birmingham on Sunday. Extreme ARE the BEST live band I've ever seen in my life Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

For those of you who've been - you'll know exactly what I mean.

For those of you who haven't - you need to get to a gig if you can.

What a Performance!

I went to the Newport gig last night and I'm still floating. everthing about the show was amazing (I'm not inculding the support acts in that statement - not to my taste). They're playing was so tight, the interaction with the crowd, the setlist, just plain brilliant.

...and then I got to meet them all afterwards, got my guitar signed by Nuno and had a couple of pics taken. Not sure how that can be beat for me?

They're playing in Birmingham on Sunday - think I'll have to go to that now - in all the excitement I forgot to get a T-Shirt!.

All you lucky people meeting the band. I think i'd be awestruck to meet them. Do you all just hang around after the show, spot them and run screaming or what? lol

Only famous person I've met was Engelbert Humperdinck..... Long story.

Hey folks, 6 of us going to the gig on Sunday. Booked our tickets online and elected to pick them up at the box office.
Anyone know if it'll be open when the doors open. I couldn't see any info about picking up tickets on the website, and no operators picked up the phone when I called them direct.

Appreciate any help

See you there

It says on their website that the box office will open at 19:00 (same as the main entrance), and the tickets will be available at this time.

A very good friend of mine works in the music industry and had a chat with his contact at one of Nuno's endorsing manufacturers, and they were only too happy to arrange complimentary tickets and passes.

We turned up on the day and were issued the passes - I got shown through to a secure area where I could deposit my guitar until after the show and then the same again afterwards to collect it before the meet and greet session. I felt valued during my visit and can't thank the staff at the newport centre enough.

Meeting the band? surreal, nerve racking and life defining but to be honest, they are the ones who make you feel comfortable, they seem interested in you (no matter how boring you are - or feel you are) and respond well to praise - I congratulated them one at a time for the best performance I'd ever seen and they each seemed flattered and greatful for the appreciation. Pat and Kevin seem quite shy, while Nuno and Gary spend their time making you feel important.

I could go on and on about the finer details of last night that will surely stay with me for the rest of my days, but I won't. All I will say is that I'm glad I'm an Extreme fan, I doubt that other bands would have this much of a connection with their fans.
